A Spain Under-21 international in his playing days, Inigo joined the Hatters in September 2017 as professional development phase lead coach.
However, following the departure of Joaquin Gomez, Idiakez took on the role of first team coach, and will remain in this position until the end of the current campaign.
A product of the Real Sociedad academy, the 45-year-old spent ten years in the first team at the Anoeta Stadium, before having brief spells with Oviedo and Rayo Vallecano.
A move to England followed as he signed for Derby County, before finishing his playing career at Southampton.
Holder of a UEFA Pro Licence, Inigo has coached at Leicester City and Derby, as well as in his home country with a number of Non-League clubs.
