Powerful central defender from Beeston, near Sandy in Bedfordshire, who joined the club as an Under-11.

The 19-year-old signed his first pro contract in July 2016 after travelling to Hungary for the senior squad's pre-season training camp, and made his debut as a substitute in the 2-1 win over Newport County that August.

His first start came at Gillingham in the EFL Trophy later the same month, and his full Football League bow came at Hartlepool United in late September.

Injury restricted his progress but the teenager finished the campaign with six first-team appearances to his name, and made a further eight appearances in 2017/18.
