On Tuesday we published the options available to Season Ticket Holders who will unfortunately be unable to watch the last five home games of the season at Kenilworth Road due to the Coronavirus. The season will recommence on the 20th June behind closed doors as the Hatters face Preston North End.
While all season ticket holders are entitled to request a refund before 10:00am on Monday 15th June, we are overwhelmed to report that so far, approximately 90% of those who have responded so far have decided to donate their refunds back to the Club. This qualifies them to receive our ‘Legends’ pack – which includes access to streamed coverage of our remaining fixtures via iFollow, as well their name on a commemorative team shirt for the 2021-22 season.
We simply cannot over-state our gratitude to all ticket holders who have decided to generously donate their refunds back to the Club. We have made no secret of the pressure that the Coronavirus crisis has put on the Club’s finances. With games set to be played behind closed for the remainder or the season, vital income from so many departments across the Club is now unavailable – and the costs associated with playing behind closed doors remains high.
While the situation remains serious, your generosity at this time will help to reduce the impact significantly as we continue to steer the Club through these treacherous waters.
