20-time league winners Manchester United visit Kenilworth Road in the Premier League to face Luton Town on Sunday afternoon, live on Sky Sports in the UK.

Rob Edwards’ Hatters will look to bounce back to winning ways after suffering defeat against Sheffield United last weekend.

Erik ten Hag’s United have continued their unbeaten run since the turn of the year following their impressive win at Aston Villa last time out.

The opposition

Manchester United have been on a positive run of form and are on the charge to compete with the top four after winning all three of their Premier League games so far this month.

The Red Devils currently sit in sixth place and are six points behind Tottenham Hotspur in fourth place, while having scored the same amount of Premier League goals as the Hatters this season.

Scott McTominay scored his seventh Premier League goal this season last Sunday at Villa. His seven goals for Manchester United have been worth 12 points to his side, the most of any player for any team this season.

21-year-old Danish striker Rasmus Højlund has scored one goal in each of his last five league matches, a goal in this fixture will make him the youngest player to score in six consecutive Premier League games.

This will be United’s first visit to Kenilworth Road since our Carabao Cup tie in September 2020.

Last time we met

Luton came away from Old Trafford with their heads held high despite defeat to United in November.

Victor Lindelof scored the only goal of the game in the second half as the Hatters stayed in the game right until the final whistle.

Team news

Edwards will have a similar squad to the one that fell to defeat against Sheffield United last weekend.

Former United defender Teden Mengi, who was on the bench last week, has made a full recovery from his ankle injury and is available to be selected from the start.

There have been no fresh injury concerns as Mads Andersen and Marvelous Nakamba remain as absentees.

69 yellow cards and three red cards have been handed out by Coote across his 15 games this season.

We last had a game ran by Coote when we visited Brighton & Hove Albion for our first-ever Premier League match on the opening day back in August.

The CPS updated its prosecution guidance on football related offences which reconfirmed in August last year that such related abuse can be prosecuted as a public order offence.

The Club can also be held responsible for the behaviour of its supporters, which could lead to substantial fines being imposed.

We would like to remind supporters to arrive at the game as early as possible to ease congestion around the stadium, at the Ticket Office and the turnstiles.

There will be additional road closures around Kenilworth Road on home matchdays.

Tickets in the home areas at Kenilworth Road are for home supporters and we strongly advise supporters not to purchase tickets from any third-party ticketing platform or from any individual on social media.

A message from Luton Community Fire Station

Please park considerately when attending football matches at Kenilworth Road. Fire crews have been struggling recently to get around irresponsibly parked vehicles on Studley Road when attending fire calls, which has caused concerns and unnecessary restrictions over recent weeks.

Don’t park on yellow lines, these are used where street parking makes the road too narrow or blocks visibility for drivers. Parking on corners could mean that an emergency vehicle travelling on blue lights cannot see oncoming traffic round the corner.

If you park without considering passing emergency vehicles, you could prevent a life from being saved.
