INTERNATIONAL NEWS

Striker James Collins made his Republic of Ireland debut in the 3-1 win over Bulgaria at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin last night and marked the occasion with a goal as he fired in from close range.

Manchester City loanee Luke Bolton was involved in both of England Under-20s’ most recent fixtures, as he played the full 90 minutes in the 0-0 draw with the Netherlands, before coming off the bench against Switzerland to set-up the winner in a 2-1 victory with a delightful last minute cross.

Simon Sluga didn’t add to his single Croatia cap whilst away with Zlatko Dalić’s side, but comes back to a Town team he has helped win two consecutive league games for the first time this campaign.

LOAN NEWS

Jake Jervis made a deadline day move to Sky Bet League Two Salford City last week, going onto make his debut for the the Ammies, playing the full 90 minutes in their 2-2 draw at Morecambe on Saturday.

Goalkeeper Harry Isted has already played twice for Vanarama National League South Oxford City – who he has joined on a month loan – keeping a clean sheet in a 0-0 draw with Weymouth in midweek last week, before conceding the only goal of the game in a 1-0 defeat to Wealdstone on Saturday.
