There was a big surprise in store for Hatters fan Mike Aukett at half-time during the Hull City match when we presented him with the first ever ‘Golden Hatter’ badge.
The badge has been introduced as a ‘magic moment’ to help recognise deserving individuals for their support for Luton Town.
Today’s winner was brought down onto the pitch under the illusion that he was taking part in today’s half-time hotshots competition. Little did he know that Sascha Gustard-Brown, Head of Supporter and Community Engagement was there to meet him with his special badge.
Mike has been attending home games since the age of 5 and unfortunately attends his last home game for some time today, as he will soon be moving to New Zealand.
