The Hatters make the long trip up to Deepdale

The Hatters take on Preston North End at Deepdale in the Sky Bet Championship tomorrow afternoon looking to get back to winning ways.

After suffering a 3-0 defeat to Stoke in midweek, Town dropped down into 21st position but remain three points above the relegation zone.

Preston meanwhile are sixth in the table after beating Fulham 2-1 on Tuesday evening, ending a run of four consecutive defeats.

International supporters are reminded they can follow and stream the game from Deepdale live on iFollow Hatters. Domestic subscribers can tune into Simon Pitts’ full match commentary as well.

GRAEME JONES SAID:

(Please note these quotes are taken from Graeme’s press conference on Thursday)

Team news: “We are okay actually. We’ve got Luke Bolton back who recovered from sickness. He had sickness on the bus on the way up so obviously presented other opportunities to people but he’s fit and well and trained today.

“I don’t think Martin Cranie will make it, which is frustrating. Obviously we’re missing him, Izzy Brown, Dan Potts and you would consider them three first-team members. Cranie in the short term we are hoping for Swansea.”

On Preston: “I played with Alex, I was 35 and he’s ten years younger than me. I was the centre-forward and Alex was the number ten, so I know him really well.

“When I left Everton he offered me the opportunity to go to Norwich with him as an assistant and he was also the captain when I was assistant manager at Hamilton. But I know Alex Neil really well and I know what his teams are capable of, there will be no easy second in the game and we need to be aware of that.

“They are the best off the ball team I’ve seen in the Championship this season. They play forced football, off and on the ball they force everything. We need to be ready for that resistance, simple as that.”
