Hatters boss Nathan Jones has made two changes to his starting line-up from the FA Cup defeat at Newcastle United last Saturday for this afternoon’s return to Sky Bet League Two action at Chesterfield.
Teenage defender Akin Famewo, who impressed in the Checkatrade Trophy game against Peterborough on Tuesday night, makes his first EFL start since his debut at Hartlepool in September 2016, while Elliot Lee comes in up front for top scorer Danny Hylton.
The Town are looking to bounce back from exits from both the Cup and Trophy, albeit in positive circumstances with the level of performance at St James’ Park and in the penalty shoot-out defeat to Peterborough, by recording a second successive league victory in 2018.
