Two days after the Hatters had five players named in the EFL League Two Team of the Year, we are delighted to announce that five members of Nathan Jones’ squad have now been included in the PFA League Two Team of the Year.

Four of the players are the same, with defenders Alan Sheehan and Dan Potts, midfielder Luke Berry and top scorer Danny Hylton being selected by their fellow professionals along with goalkeeper Marek Stech, who has kept 17 clean sheets for the Town in all competitions this term.

The five Hatters will attend the 2018 PFA Awards next Sunday at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, which is on Park Lane close to the Hilton Hotel four of them were at – along with right-back Jack Stacey – on Sunday just gone.

Hatters boss Nathan Jones said: “I’m really proud to have five of our players included once again in the team of the year.

“To have almost half the team selected by the managers in the division was phenomenal, and now to have the same again selected by the players’ peers shows how much respect there is for them throughout the division.

“I’ve said it before, but those players could easily have been joined by other members of our squad too. They have all played a massive part in what has been a wonderful season so far – one that we all hope will get even better over the coming days.”

Congratulations from all at Kenilworth Road to Marek, Alan, Dan, Luke and Danny!
