Find out all about the Level Trust's Uniform Exchange project

As you'll now be aware, tomorrow's match against Crawley holds special significance as the Team run out in their special 'Level Trust' shirts in support of our Club charity of the year.

This week, we've been focusing in on Level Trust, and their projects which aim to help young people in Luton who live in poverty.

Earlier this year, we visited their 'Uniform Exchange', which used to be in Upper George Street near the Town Hall. Unfortunately, Level Trust had to move away from their home, and are now in the process of looking for a new home to base their uniform exchange operation from on a permanent basis. Some of the money raised by the Club this season will go towards helping to make this happen.

The uniform exchange gives parents who would otherwise be unable to afford it, a chance to provide their kids with good quality, warm school clothes that may otherwise have been thrown away. Research conducted by the charity shows that children who are not lucky enough to have full school uniform, PE kit and so on are much less likely to go on to succeed. So this service is an invaluable way of giving children from disadvantaged families a better chance of success.
