With the 2017-18 EFL season just days away, it is worth reminding supporters that subscribers to iFollow Hatters – which has replaced Hatters Player – will be able to see every kick of Nathan Jones’ side’s attempts to win promotion from Sky Bet League Two.
The Luton Town Official App is now available on the App store and Google Play, so make sure you download it to get access to all the club news and vidoes on your mobile device!
Your subscription to iFollow Hatters will also benefit Luton Town, with the club receiving 70 per cent of every package taken out.
So, for just £45 (with LTFC receiving £31.50) the new improved service will see subscribers in the UK & REPUBLIC OF IRELAND receive:
- Live audio commentary of all matches from the Hatters’ Simon ‘Statto’ Pitts
- Full match replays – relive the whole 90 minutes from midday the following day
- Video highlights – a ten-minute edit of every game with commentary
- Behind the scenes content – interviews with the key people and full match previews and post-match reaction

In a new development, subscribers based OVERSEAS will be able to watch every Luton Town league game LIVE on iFollow as it happens – as long as the game is not chosen to be broadcast by the EFL’s international broadcast partners, including Sky Sports.
You will also have the option of listening to Simon Pitts’ commentary on audio only and all of the other features listed above in HD, across desktop, mobile, tablet and app – for a price of £110 (with LTFC receiving £77)!

What is iFollow?

Why do fans in the UK and Republic of Ireland not have the same access to iFollow as international fans?
Under the EFL’s existing broadcast agreement with Sky Sports clubs are unable to offer fans in the UK or Republic of Ireland the same access to iFollow as international fans.

If I have been subscribed to Hatters PlayerHD, will I automatically join iFollow Hatters?
If you are an existing PlayerHD subscriber then your account will now have been transferred to the new iFollow service. Existing PlayerHD users will now be able to log in with their existing log in details.
If I live in the UK or Republic of Ireland and subscribe to iFollow, will I be able to watch games on iFollow when travelling abroad on holiday?
No. In order to live stream games on iFollow you would need to purchase a separate pass whilst based abroad. Upon your return to the UK or Republic of Ireland, you would not then be able to watch games, but you would be able to listen to live audio match commentary on either of your passes.
What commentary will be used on iFollow?
Subscribers based in the UK and Ireland – and those abroad – will be able to listen to Simon Pitts’ audio commentary, just as was the case on Hatters Player.

iFollow is available across desktop, mobile, tablet and app. Users watching matches live on a mobile will have to use the iFollow app, which is now available from Google Play and the App Store.
What games will fans outside of the UK and Republic of Ireland be able to watch live via iFollow?
More than 1,500 matches will be available in HD quality, with iFollow showing every EFL league match live unless that match has been selected, or ‘blacked out’, by the EFL’s overseas broadcast partners.
What games will fans outside of the UK and Republic of Ireland be unable to watch live via iFollow?
Games from Carabao Cup, Checkatrade Trophy and Sky Bet Play-Offs will not be available via iFollow.

If I am subscribed to my club’s PlayerHD service will I automatically join iFollow?
No, your subscription to PlayerHD has now ended and you will need to register for a new season pass to gain access to iFollow. Those supporters whose PlayerHD subscriptions have been terminated early have been issued refunds on a pro rata basis. Please email iFollow@efl.com with any further queries relating to this.
If I live outside the UK or Republic of Ireland and subscribe to iFollow, will I be able to watch games on iFollow when travelling to the UK or Republic of Ireland?
No, when in the UK or Republic of Ireland you will not be able to live stream games on iFollow, however you would be able to listen to live match commentary.
What commentary will be used on iFollow?
The standard matchday commentary (audio only) will be delivered by Simon Pitts. There are no plans to deliver commentary with the games streamed at present. Due to a slight delay in transmission, we are currently unable to synchronise Simon’s audio commentary with the video stream.
Can you only watch matches live, or will the footage be available on demand?
Full match footage and highlights will be available on iFollow from midday (GMT) the day after a regular season EFL league match.
