The Hattters are to take part in an Act of Remembrance

Today, Luton Town Football Club is joining together with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission to take part in an Act of Remembrance at Luton General Cemetery on Rothesay Road at 1.45pm.

The cemetery contains 102 war graves from Luton victims of World War 1 and World War 2, so it is a chance for the club to honour those people from our community who lost their lives in these conflicts.

The event will last for around 20 minutes and will feature the playing of the Last Post by a Royal British Legion bugler and the laying of a wreath at the Cross of Sacrifice.

Some members of the club’s senior management and playing and coaching staff will be present, and if any supporters are able to join us, we look forward to seeing you this afternoon.

We will also be marking Remembrance Day before our game against Accrington Stanley at Kenilworth Road this Saturday.
