Town enter a procession at the annual Luton Carnival for the first time

The Hatters entered their first procession at the 40th anniversary of the Luton Carnival which took us around Wardown Park instead of the traditional route through St George's Square. Luton Town F.C in association with 30 children from Chantry Primary Academy from Lewsey Farm came together to produce a vibrant sea of orange in their full Luton Town kits.

The children individually designed and decorated football collars and head gear that represented the Johnstone's Paint Trophy and who else to lead our procession rather than our very own Happy Harry. Enjoying the loud music and the carnival vibe, Harry and the children showed off their dance sequences which the crowd warmed up to.

On behalf of everyone at Luton Town Football Club, we would like to give a special thanks to Assistant Head Teacher Mr Jamie Kelly and his children for helping us put together such an amazing event which is great for our Club and Town. Don't worry if you missed us at our first carnival - we certainly will be back in 2017. COYH
