Town to test up-and-coming youngsters against Boro
Hatters Youth Team boss Paul Driver will field a side made-up of Under-16s for Saturday’s Youth Alliance game with Stevenage.
The Town will rest the entire full-time group of scholars with next Wednesday’s FA Youth Cup fourth round clash at Oldham Athletic in mind.
The game against Boro’s youngsters will take place at Creasey Park in Dunstable on their AstroTurf surface and kick-off at 11am.
Driver told lutontown.co.uk: “This is a great opportunity for our young lads to show the staff what they are capable of and whether they are ready for next season.
“With the Oldham game next week we felt it right to rest the usual group and giving the younger boys a real taster of what to expect next season.”
