Up-and-coming keeper to represent Northern Ireland youngsters

Everybody at the Luton Town Academy would like to extend massive congratulations to Tiernan Parker, our Under-15 academy goalkeeper, who has received his first International call up this weekend.

Hertford-born Tiernan has been in impressive form so far this season and under the tutelage of Albert Bell (Head of Academy Goalkeeping), Kevin Dearden (First Team Goalkeeping Coach) and Joe Oxley (Under-15 Academy Lead Coach), and has made impressive strides with his development in all areas of his game.

Tiernan will join up with the Northern Ireland Under-15 squad over the course of this weekend and play in his first International fixture against Glasgow Rangers in Scotland on Sunday.

This will be a great opportunity for Tiernan not only to get a taste for international football but also to stake a claim for a place in The Victory Shield squad which will see Northern Ireland take on England, Wales and Scotland later in the year.

We wish Tiernan all the best over the weekend and here’s to hoping he can follow in Mark Tyler and Paddy McCourt’s footsteps and light up Kenilworth Road and the Northern Ireland senior squad for years to come.

Good luck Tiernan!
