Hamstring injury could rule out midfielder out of Stags clash

Hatters manager John Still could be without the services of Luke Guttridge for Saturday's Sky Bet League 2 game with Mansfield Town.

The 33-year-old was substituted in the second half of the Town's 3-2 defeat at Notts County last weekend with a slight hamstring injury and is likely to be a doubt this weekend.

Another man the Hatters will be without for the meeting with the Stags is Scott Cuthbert, who was sent-off in the game at Meadow Lane last Saturday. Still said at his Thursday press conference that the club had appealed against the decision, however the FA have sided with the officials' initial decision and the centre-half's ban stands.

Striker Jack Marriott returns from a two-match ban, but a neck injury is continuing to give fellow frontman Paul Benson some discomfort and he is also likely to be unavailable for Saturday.

The Hatters are also able to call upon the services of goalkeeper Elliot Justham, who missed last Saturday after suffering an injury in training.

Meanwhile Magnus Okuonghae, Dan Potts and Nathan Doyle are all making progress in their return to full fitness, and the trio - together with Benson - are set to be involved in a development game next week.
