Midfielder banned by Irish FA after international snub
Cameron McGeehan is likely to miss Saturday’s trip to Cambridge United as he has been suspended by the Northern Ireland Football Association.
The 20-year-old was called up for their Under-21 squad to face Scotland and Iceland, a call-up which was rejected by the midfielder as he is currently reconsidering his international future.
As a result the Irish FA have imposed a FIFA statute which suspends McGeehan for the current international window.
The Club have appealed against the decision.
