£1,820 raised by the Bobbers to help fund medical equipment

Town physiotherapist Simon Parsell received a cheque for almost £2,000 from the Bobbers Travel Club at our match with Plymouth last month which will go towards new medical equipment.

The joint-partnership between the Club and the Bobbers Travel Club has enabled the medical department to procure a number of the newest advanced in equipment, including special recovery boots.

The Bobbers’ support has been particularly helpful in the rehabilitation of a number of the Town players over the past few seasons, including Jonathan Smith following his leg-break two seasons ago.

Parsell told lutontown.co.uk: “I would like to thank Bobbers Travel for their continued support of the medical department.

“Over my time at the club their support has allowed us to introduce a whole range of procedures that have benefitted the club and players, allowing great recovery protocols and rehab programmes that enable us to get players back quicker.

“I believe this season we are seeing the fruits of our joint partnership.”
