Wilkinson fit, new arrivals in contention...

Town boss John Still is sure to have a selection headache ahead of Saturday's Sky Bet League 2 trip to Oxford United.

The manager said at his Thursday press conference that Luke Wilkinson has trained all week and is fit to partner Stephen McNulty at centre-half. The defender hobbled off with a slight hamstring problem in last weekend's 3-2 win over Cambridge but is ready to resume action.

Still also revealed that Luke Guttridge, Alex Lawless and Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu have also trained fully this week, although the Town's overall preparation has been hindered by the cold weather which saw Tuesday's development game at Peterborough postponed.

The boss also confirmed that new arrivals Ryan Hall and Nathan Oduwa are in contention for a place in the squad having joined the club in the past week.

Paul Benson, meanwhile, continues to make steady progress in his recovery from a broken leg and is set to make a return to full training with the rest of the squad next week.
