Team news for Saturday

The Hatters will be without the services of Nathan Doyle for at least three weeks with a knee injury, manager John Still revealed at his Thursday press conference.

The midfielder sustained the knock in second half of Tuesday's 2-2 draw with York City, coming off the pitch and back on it again as the Town were reduced to 10 men.

Defender Luke Wilkinson was also substituted in the midweek draw with a groin problem, and Still will wait on the centre-half's fitness levels over the next 24 hours to see whether he is available to return for Saturday's home game with Carlisle United.

Alex Lacey and Fraser Franks are in line to take Wilkinson's place and that of Stephen McNulty, whose appeal against his red card on Tuesday has been rejected by the Football Association.

Meanwhile, Alex Lawless, Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu, Scott Griffiths and Luke Guttridge came through the development squad's game with Peterborough on Wednesday. Griffiths, who has been suffering from illness, is set for a return to the side, while Guttridge is the most likely to feature of the returning midfielder's with the 32-year-old's fitness ahead of Lawless' and Ruddock's.

Finally, striker Paul Benson has joined in full training with the first team squad this week, 10 weeks after breaking his leg in the 3-0 win over Mansfield.
