Banton on target but Hatters dev squad defeated
Stephen O’Donnell, Magnus Okuonghae and Nathan Doyle all came through 90 minutes as the Town dev squad went down 2-1 at Cambridge United on Wednesday afternoon.
Zane Banton put the Town in front 25 minutes in but United levelled 10 minutes later.
The Hatters went for victory in the second period but it was the hosts secured the win when a late free-kick found the top corner giving Elliot Justham no chance.
