Town youngsters' season ends at Stevenage on Saturday

The Hatters Under-18s travel to near neighbours Stevenage in their final game of the season with an outside chance of lifting the Merit League title.

Paul Driver’s side lie second in the table and three points behind league leaders Plymouth Argyle and two points ahead of third-placed Watford and three points above Stevenage.

The Town youngsters have won five and drawn two of their last nine matches in the Merit League to put themselves in the frame for the title.

However, Plymouth are firmly in the driving seat and only need a point to secure top spot. The Pilgrims take on bottom-of-the-table Swindon, who have only taken one point from their 10 matches in the section.

The Town’s match at Stevenage kicks-off at 11am and spectators are welcome at Boro’s Academy at Shephalbury.

We’ll have news of how the boys do on lutontown.co.uk on Saturday afternoon. Good luck lads!
