Team news ahead of Argyle visit

The Town could welcome back Scott Griffiths and Andy Drury to the squad for Saturday’s televised Sky Bet League 2 clash with Plymouth Argyle.

Both have returned to training this week having missed last Saturday’s 2-0 defeat Shrewsbury.

Griffiths, who was also absent from the 2-2 draw at Accrington, has had a slight hamstring strain, whilst a rib injury kept Drury out of the squad a week ago.

However, Matt Robinson is definitely unavailable after the Town’s bid to overturn the midfielder’s red card at Shrewsbury failed.

But the Hatters could welcome back Alex Lawless for the visit of Argyle.

On the potential of a number of players returning, John Still told the media on Thursday: “There might be a few this week, we’ll have a look tomorrow.

“I will have a better idea then when we will look at one or two things to see if it works.

“Lawless is at the starting line at the moment, maybe not ready to start but he is certainly in and around it.”
