Half-a-dozen Town men in weekend action

Seven Town men out on loan were involved over the weekend.

Midfielder Matt Robinson, pictured, enjoyed the best of the success, as he played 90 minutes and helped Kidderminster record a fine 2-0 win away to Grimsby in the Conference Premier.

Andy Parry also played a full game, but was unable to prevent AFC Telford losing 3-1 at home to Braintree.

Also in the Conference, Solomon Taiwo featured in Dover’s goalless draw against Forest Green at the Crabble.

In the Conference South, meanwhile, young striker Zane Banton played an hour for Hemel Hempstead Town in their 4-3 win over Basingstoke.

In the same division, midfielder Charlie Smith played in St Albans City’s 1-0 defeat to Havant & Waterlooville and strike Lee Angol helped leaders Boreham Wood to a 1-1 draw at home to Gosport.

Finally, Mark Onyemah played 90 minutes for Thurrock in their 3-2 home defeat to Brentwood in Ryman Division One North.
