Penalty saves help Hatters see off Northampton
Two second-half penalty saves from goalkeeper Liam Gooch helped the Hatters Under-18s record a 2-0 win over Northampton in the Youth Alliance.The young stopper made both stops at a time that the Town were 1-0 in front thanks to a first half goal from Ekene Amadi.
Gooch's heroics prevented the in-form Cobblers from twice levelling and the Town made the victory safe when forcing home an own goal with five minutes to go.
