Hatters academy stars travel to Germany this week
A selection of the Town’s Under 9 and 10 Academy players are participating in one of Germany’s top Under 10 tournaments in Verl this week.
The PT Sports Cup plays host to a number of top European Clubs including Juventus, Wolfsburg , Werden Bremen, Borussia Monchengladbach, Hamburg and Borussia Dortmund…to name just a few of the biggest clubs!
The Hatters have been drawn in Group 2 of 11 featuring six teams per group and will play the following teams:
• Eintracht Frankfurt
• Fundacion Marcet Barcelona
• Dynamo Dresden
• FC Kaunitz Schwarz
• SC Verl Weib
The young Hatters travel to Dortmund before transferring to their accommodation base where they will live and learn like young professionals for four days as we support them in their education both on and off the pitch.
They will compete in an Under 11 local German tournament as preparation for the weekend’s top tournament on Thursday before watching England continue their World Cup Campaign in the evening.
