Cullen scores the winner as Hatters come out on top in five-goal thriller
A strong Town development squad ran out 3-2 winners over League 1 Gillingham at Creasey Park on Wednesday morning.
The Hatters trailed to an early goal before a stunning goal from striker Jon Shaw brought the Hatters level.
The Town were enjoying the fair share of possession and took the lead when Kane Ferdinand struck to make it 2-1.
The Gills, watched by first team manager Peter Taylor, however, drew level and it looked as though the match would end in a draw.
But the Hatters had other ideas and won it with five minutes left when Mark Cullen popped up in the penalty area to make it 3-2.
