It won't be easy...

Just like Dartford on Tuesday and Tamworth next Tuesday, the Town face a side on Saturday in desperate need of the points.

Aldershot began the season with a 10-point deduction for entering administration and find themselves deep in relegation trouble with six matches still left to play.

Shots boss Andy Scott watched the Town’s late fightback at Princes Park on Tuesday night but John Still knows, as ever, that his side will have no easy task against the struggling Hampshire side.

“People look at the league and see where they are, but they’re 10 points better off than that aren’t they?” Still said at his pre-match press call on Thursday.

“They’re fighting for their lives. It’s the same as Dartford, the same as Chester, the same as Grimsby and the same as Halifax.

“I could name 16 teams fighting for their lives and that’s what makes it tough.

“The games we’re playing at the moment are against teams that can get in the Play-Offs or can get relegated and they’re the toughest opposition.

“What I know is when the games are tough, we’re tough enough to deal with it and I think it’s fighting football I really do.

“We’ve shown we can play and be expansive and that we can be tight and not give away anything.

“We’ve now shown another side of our game where we’re just battling our socks off to get as many points as you can, it’s an ingredient you need and it’s an ingredient we’re showing.”
