"Let's get it done," says John Still

The Town start a run of three home games knowing nine points will be enough to win them Skrill Premier title.

Beaten just the once at Kenilworth Road – against Woking last month – the Hatters face Aldershot on Saturday before games against Tamworth, on Tuesday, and Braintree next week.

With such a fairy-tale campaign in the offing, all John Still would like is for the final chapter to be written before the passion punters at Kenilworth Road.

“If you were to write a book, that’s how you’d write it,” said the manager on Thursday. “If it happens – we don’t know when it will happen – but I’m sure everyone will be delighted.

“I understand people would like it to be at home in front of a big crowd but this is football.

“We’re all just working as hard as we can to make it happen.

“Let’s get it done.”
