Away trip to start for Town
The Hatters will start the new season where they ended the last with a trip to Southport on the opening day of the 2013/14 campaign in the Football Conference which kicks-off on Saturday 10th August.
It will mean an instant return to Haig Avenue for new signings Shaun Whalley and Andy Parry, who joined the Town in the summer from the Sandgrounders.
Meanwhile, newly-promoted Salisbury City are the first visitors to Kenilworth Road for the new season when the Conference South Play-Off winners arrive on Tuesday 13th August (kick-off 7.45pm).
The Hatters have been matched-up with Barnet over the festive period. The Town will travel to the Bees’ new Hive stadium on Boxing Day and, after a home game with Kidderminster on Saturday 28th December, the Hatters welcome Barnet to Kenilworth Road on New Year’s Day.
The campaign draws to a close on Saturday 26th April with a trip to Hyde whilst the final home game of the season is against Forest Green Rovers on Easter Monday 21st April.
Travelling Town fans will be pleased to note from the fixture list that scheduled Tuesday night trips are relatively local – bar a trip to Grimsby in late March! – with midweek away games at Aldershot, Braintree and Woking.
