Town boss to make at least two changes for cup tie

Town boss Paul Buckle will be forced into at least two changes for Saturday's eagerly-anticipated FA Cup third round tie with Wolves.

Kenilworth Road is almost a sell out for the clash against the Championship side but Hatters fans won't be seeing Simon Ainge or new recruit Scott Neilson, as both players are cup-tied.

Midfielder Jonathan Smith is eligible, however. Indeed the former York man featured in the second round victory over Dorchester.

Buckle is likely to utilise all the players available to him as seven substitutes can be named for FA Cup ties.

The manager is looking forward to a match that, for the first time under his leadership, the Hatters are underdogs to win.

"It's nice that the pressure is on the other team," said Buckle. "We're used to having the pressure but for once we're the underdogs."

The boss also believes the Town support can play a massive part in his side's fortunes on Saturday.

"Our fans will be our biggest weapon," he said. "The atmosphere is going to be electric and I hope the fans can really push us along."
