Oakroaders wanted for Tynesiders visit!

The Oak Road end will be open to Town supporters for today's game against Gateshead.

Over 1,200 supporters sat in the Oak Stand during the 4-1 victory over Hyde in October, whilst a similar number watched the 3-0 win over Southport from that vantage point last month.

And Hatters fans can savour the unique atmosphere from this area of Kenilworth Road for the Tynesiders’ visit – the Town’s last home game before Christmas.

Manager John Still believes the atmosphere that has been created since  the opening of the stand has had a positive effect on his team.

"I think it does give players a lift, absolutely I do," he said at his Thursday press conference.

"Does it make a difference to results? No-one knows, it’s difficult to say.

"But I think that for all of us, knowing the support is all around you and when you’re attacking one goal you’re being called complimentary names and not abusive names, also when you’re trying to take a corner."

Season ticket holders who wish to transfer their season ticket seat to the Oak Road end for this match must do so before the day of the game. Contact the ticket office on 01582 411622 or email ticketoffice@lutontown.co.uk.

Matchday tickets are on sale now and tickets will be available on the door (subject to availability).

Tickets are now available in the ticket office and online.
