Details on FA Trophy and Beds Senior Cup ties
Matlock or Mansfield await the Hatters or Dorchester in the second round of the FA Trophy.The Town and Dorchester will try again on Tuesday - weather permitting - after Saturday's game was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
The news from Dorset is that the pitch is playable (as of Monday morning) and the weather forecast over the next 36 hours in reasonable.
Should the tie end all square the replay would take place at Kenilworth Road a week on Tuesday, 4th December, thus meaning the Blue Square Bet Premier fixture at Newport County will require rescheduling.
Matlock and Mansfield did play on Saturday, however, and drew 1-1 at Field Mill. They replay at Causeway Lane on Tuesday night with the winners hosting the Town or Dorchester.
The second round tie is set for Saturday 15th December 2012.
Due to Saturday's postponement of the Dorchester - and the subsequent rescheduling - the planned Beds Senior Cup tie at Arlesey on 27th November has been postponed. We are awaiting a new date for this fixture.
