International call of duty for Jake

The Town will be without the services of Jake Howells for Tuesday's trip to Kidderminster Harriers.

Howells has been called up by the Wales Under-21 squad for their European Under-21 championship qualifier at home to Armenia.

Hatters manager Paul Buckle will continue to be without defender Garry Richards and midfielders Danny Spiller and James Dance through injury.

At his pre-match press conference the boss was full of praise for the way his side bounced back from adversity on Saturday but admitted a few home truths were told in the dressing room afterwards.

And he also explained that the squad were subjected to DVD of the match on Monday morning and highlighted the noise made by the Kenilworth Road crowd in the second half during the comeback.

"The players, especially the new lads, realised how much of a force our fans can be when we're on our game," he said. "We turned the volume up on the DVD when we scored our first goal and the atmosphere was incredible. Sometimes, when you're sitting on the bench, you don't realise it - but it was one helleva noise. And that's what the crowd can be like when we're playing well."
