Old Trafford is the next location in Luton Town’s Premier League journey as we visit 20-time league winners Manchester United on Saturday.
Rob Edwards’ Hatters were minutes away from a shock victory against six-time European champions Liverpool last weekend before settling for a point at Kenilworth Road.
Erik Ten Hag’s United have stumbled after their late win at Fulham last week with defeat to FC Copenhagen in the Champions League on Wednesday.
The opposition
Ten Hag picked up the Red Devils in summer 2022 after Ralf Rangnick had left the club in sixth place and 13 points outside of the top four at the end of the 2021/22 season.
With Cristiano Ronaldo’s controversial departure a few months after Ten Hag’s arrival, United seemed to have gradually improved under the Dutchman until this season.
United currently sit in eighth place after 11 games and have lost five home games so far, which is the highest amount of home defeats after 10 games in all competitions since 1930/31.
This fixture will be Ten Hag’s 50th Premier League game in charge, while Marcus Rashford will make his 250th Premier League appearance if selected.
This is our first league meeting with United since April 1992, which was a 1-1 draw at Kenilworth Road.

“The pressure is on any opposition whenever they play us this season, but at the moment the pressure is certainly on United.
“They are at home, they’ll be expected to beat us so that probably plays into our favour. Performances have been good for us, we can take a lot of confidence from last week.
“We want to compete with United and put in a really good performance, we’re going to need to do the basics well, we’ll have to defend well and run really hard, all the stuff that we did last week. We want to attack the game in the moments when we can.
“We are really looking forward to it, but we want to go into the international break off of another positive performance this Saturday.”

Championship Luton Town fell to defeat against Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s United in the Carabao Cup at Kenilworth Road in September 2020.
Last time out
The Hatters were three minutes away from securing their first home Premier League win of the season before conceding late in the draw against Liverpool on Super Sunday last weekend.
Tahith Chong’s brilliant counterattacking goal looked like it was going to be the winner before Luis Diaz headed in the Reds’ equaliser in stoppage time.

Jordan Clark has continued to train with the team following his inclusion in the matchday squad for the first time this season last Sunday.
Cauley Woodrow picked up a calf injury in training so will be unavailable, alongside Dan Potts, Mads Andersen, Sambi Lokonga, Reece Burke, Luke Berry and Amari’i Bell.

35 yellow cards and one red card have been handed out by Scott across his seven games this season.

Saturday is Remembrance Day, and therefore Manchester United’s turn to honour and remember those connected to the club that they have lost. United are still in mourning over the loss of one of the greats of the English game, Sir Bobby Charlton, whose funeral takes place on Monday.
