The final fixture of the 2024/25 Sky Bet Championship season is almost upon us as Luton Town travel to The Hawthorns to face West Bromwich Albion (Saturday, 12.30pm UK).
Matt Bloomfield’s Hatters are one win away from Championship survival after three monumental victories in a row means we start the final day outside the relegation zone.
West Brom parted ways with head coach Tony Mowbray after their defeat to Derby County on Easter Monday, with former player James Morrison taking interim charge of the Baggies.

Last time out
Luton left it late before taking an invaluable three points against Coventry City last Saturday.
Substitute Shandon Baptiste raised the Kenilworth Road roof after breaking Coventry’s resolve in the 90th minute, with both teams down to ten men.
The opposition
West Brom’s season grinded to a halt when they missed out on the play-offs after picking up three points just once in their last nine games.
Before that run, Mowbray’s side were in fifth place and had been in and around the play-off places all season, including under former head coach Carlos Corberán.
Unfortunately for the Baggies, they came up short in key battles and lost their grip on the play-offs after defeats at top six rivals Bristol City and Coventry in the last nine games.
Thoughts from the boss

13 of Bond’s 25 games this season have been Premier League fixtures.
