The Hatters will look to continue their impressive recent run of form following the win against Bristol City during midweek, while Sunderland have just one win in their last six games.

The opposition:

Sunderland have fallen to 12th place in the Sky Bet Championship after they briefly broke into the top six last month.

The Black Cats secured an impressive win at Norwich City last weekend before falling to defeat at home against Sheffield United on Wednesday night.

Saturday’s hosts have suffered massively since the injury of their top scorer Ross Stewart, with just three wins since the Scot was injured in January.

Manchester United loanee Amad Diallo has been out with injury for the last two games however, he could be set to appear this weekend. The Ivory Coast international has scored eight goals this season.

Last time we met:

Luton Town shared the points with Sunderland at Kenilworth Road when we faced each other back in October.

Carlton Morris put the Hatters into the lead during the first half, before Eliot Embleton equalised with 12 minutes left to salvage a point for the Black Cats.
