Luton Town are back on the road in the Premier League on Saturday as we visit the Gtech Community Stadium to face Brentford.
Rob Edwards’ side are riding on last weekend’s high of our first top-flight home win since 1992 when we beat Crystal Palace at Kenilworth Road.
Thomas Frank’s Bees will be coming into this fixture looking to make amends for their late defeat against top-of-the-table Arsenal last Saturday.
The opposition
Frank has transformed Brentford since he was appointed head coach in 2018, securing promotion to the Premier League at the end of the 2020/21 season.
The Bees have had a rise through the leagues in a similar fashion as the Hatters, winning League Two back in the 2008/09 season.
So far this season, Brentford sit in 11th place in their third successive Premier League campaign and have won each of their last five Premier League home games against promoted sides.
Brentford have suffered back-to-back home defeats in their last two at the Gtech, they have not lost three successive home league games since 2012.
This is our first meeting with Brentford since the 2020/21 Championship season.

Our first-ever Premier League win at Kenilworth Road was secured when we beat Crystal Palace last Saturday.
Teden Mengi’s first senior goal opened the scoring for the Hatters before Michael Olise’s instant equaliser, which was cancelled out by Jacob Brown’s winner.

Issa Kaboré is back in contention for selection after completing his concussion protocol which ruled him out last Saturday.
Sambi Lokonga and Dan Potts are both back in full training this week, but are not ready for this fixture.
Cauley Woodrow, Reece Burke and Mads Andersen all remain sidelined.

The referee for our fixture against Brentford will be Anthony Taylor.
101 yellow cards and four red cards have been handed out by Taylor across his 21 games this season.
Luton Town last had a game ran by Taylor when we won our first-ever Premier League game at Everton in September.
