Nathan Jones' side have recorded seven points from a possible nine in the last three matches but are still looking for a first home win of the campaign.

The opposition:

Wigan Athletic were promoted to the Sky Bet Championship as champions last season and currently find themselves in 18th position.

With a win against Birmingham City and four draws so far, Wigan find themselves two points and five places behind the Hatters at the start of play.

Will Keane was the Latics' top scorer with 27 in all competitions last term and so far in six Championship matches he has scored twice.

Rarmani Edmonds-Green and Anthony Scully joined the Latics on Deadline Day, the latter on a permanent basis from League One side Lincoln City after netting 37 goals in 106 appearances for the Imps.

Last time we met:

It was a goalless draw in the last meeting between the two teams, remembered best by a last-minute Simon Sluga save to leave the DW Stadium with a point which would prove vital in Town's survival bid.

Four months prior, the Hatters recorded their first win over Wigan since 1998 thanks to a late turnaround and eventual added-time winner from George Moncur.
