Centre-half Reece Burke joined the Hatters in 2021 just weeks after helping Hull City win promotion from League One.
He arrived at Kenilworth Road as a free agent, with his contract with the Tigers coming to an end. Burke joined West Ham aged nine in 2003 and 11 years later made his first-team debut against Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup, a game in which Dan Potts started and Elliot Lee was on the bench.
During his time with the Hammers, the defender spent time on loan at Bradford, where he was named Player of the Season, as well as spells with Wigan Athletic and Bolton Wanderers.
He made his Premier League debut for the Hammers in 2015 in a 0-0 draw against Queens Park Rangers. Reece’s career at the Premier League club ended in 2018 when he left with 15 first-team appearances to his name to join Hull on a permanent transfer.
In the years since he has been a regular for the Tigers, making 110 appearances in total which includes 37 matches last season as well as five goals during the campaign.
He had to bide his time initially but went on to feature 32 times during his first season as a Luton player. Burke scored twice in the FA Cup against Cambridge United and Chelsea in consecutive rounds and played a key role in securing sixth place.
Reece then helped the Hatters to promotion in the following season, coming on as a substitute for Tom Lockyer in the play-off final and went onto appear 22 times in the Premier League last term.
