Teden signed for the Town in the 2023/24 season coming from Manchester United where he had been since he was seven years old.
He made his first-team debut for the Red Devils in the Europa League in 2020 and played for the under 15s-21s and then earned senior experience with loan spells at Birmingham and Derby County.
After joing the Hatters, the centre-half made 30 appearances in the Premier League and scored his first goal for the club against Crystal Palace.
His performances earned him an England Under-21 call-up where he went onto make his debut back in March 2024 in a 7-0 win over Luxembourg.
After a fine first season Mengi was awarded away player of the season at the supporters' end of season awards night.
