Luton Town Ladies will be looking to make it three wins out of three in the Women’s National League Cup this Sunday when they face off against tier-three Oxford United.

After picking up their first three points on their travels in 2025/26 last Sunday at Milton Keynes, the Ladies will be aiming to secure back-to-back victories for the second time this season.

The Town have had a perfect start to their WNL Cup group stage campaign. A dominant display over Tottenham Hotspur PGA at Barton saw the Ladies kick off their League Cup campaign in style, putting four past the young Spurs side, conceding a consolation late on.

The second group stage match saw the Town take all three points in a narrow 2-1 victory, also at Barton over Milton Keynes Women.

The opposition

Tier-three opposition, Oxford United, are currently ahead of the Hatters at the top of Group M on goal difference.

The U's defeated Milton Keynes Women 5-0 away from home in their WNL Cup opener, before sweeping Tottenham Hotspur PGA aside 3-1 in their second match.

Oxford United currently sit in fifth place in the WNL Southern Premier Division. This is their eighth consecutive season in the third-tier of the women's game after narrowly missing out on promotion by two points during the 2022/23 campaign.

Sam Rose's side have suffered just two defeats in seven games in all competitions this term, scoring 12 and conceding six.

Although the match against the Hatters will decide who tops the group, both sides are likely to qualify for the WNL Cup knockout stages but for a major goal swing.

Back the Ladies in Oxford
