The Ladies travel to struggling Chesham United on Thursday night in WNL Division One South East action.

The Hatters are back in league action for the first time since they defeated Milton Keynes Women 2-0 at Stadium MK a little over a month ago.

After a disappointing result the weekend prior, the Town go into the game on a win having advanced to the second round of the Women’s FA Cup via a 3-0 victory over Mansfield Town at Barton.

Manager Myles Maddix said: “It’s an important game for us, we know what three points can do for us.”

The opposition

Chesham United currently sit bottom of the WNL Division One South East table, having only picked up one point in their opening six matches in the league.

They head into the match on a run of seven consecutive defeats, since picking up their only point of the season against AFC Sudbury on 31st August.

Chesham United were defeated 1-0 by Milton Keynes on Sunday, ending their Buckinghamshire County Cup hopes.

Back the Town in HP5

Thursday night’s important clash takes place at Chesham United’s The Meadow, HP5 1NE.

Kick-off is at 7.45pm and the Ladies need your support as they look to secure successive league victories.
