Luton Town return to Kenilworth Road this weekend in another crucial Sky Bet Championship fixture against promotion-chasing Leeds United (Saturday, 12.30pm UK).
Matt Bloomfield’s Hatters are closing the gap to survival, with three points separating us and safety after our win at Hull City last Saturday.
Daniel Farke’s Leeds have won just one of their last five games since defeating promotion rivals Sheffield United in February.
The opposition
A win for Leeds United at Bramall Lane just over a month ago left Farke’s side at the summit of the table and seven points above Burnley in third place.
Since then, things have tightened up again at the top. Victory against Millwall being their only victory since Sheffield United away, Saturday’s visitors are now level on points with Burnley and two behind the Blades.
Speculation around the starting goalkeeper was squashed by Farke this week, confirming that Wales international Karl Darlow (pictured) will replace Illan Meslier between the sticks on Saturday.
Despite defensive troubles, Leeds have still been productive at the other end of the pitch, scoring 17 more goals than anyone else in the Championship this season.
Last time out
Luton made it back-to-back away wins when we took all three points at MKM Stadium against Hull last weekend.
An Alfie Jones own goal was the difference in this six-pointer, with the Hatters halving the points deficit between the two sides following victory.
