We welcomed Manchester City winger Emilio Lawrence to Kenilworth Road on loan until the end of the season in the January transfer window.
Born in Manchester, Emilio spent a decade in the Everton Academy before signing for the team he supported in Manchester City in October 2022. In his first two seasons at the Etihad, he progressed into a wide attacker and eventually ended up playing for City`s Elite Development Squad in Premier League 2 and the Vertu Trophy. This term he has scored once in nine appearances in PL2 and has two goals in the Premier League U21 International Cup scoring against PSV Eindhoven and Real Madrid. In the Vertu Trophy this time around, he has made appearances against Oldham, Bolton and Rotherham. Emilio has made five appearances at national team level for the Scotland U21s and has scored four goals for the Scots, all of which came in a 12-0 win over Gibraltar.
He made his debut in the 2-1 win over Stevenage.
