The Hatters are in FA WNL Division One South East action again this Sunday when they travel to West London to take on Actonians Women.

Last time out was a day to forget for the Hatters who were defeated 4-0 at Barton by Sunday’s hosts.

The opposition

Despite being on a four-game undefeated streak across all competitions, the Town are winless in the league since a 4-1 victory away at Chesham United in October.

And Sunday will be no easy task against an Actonians side who are well-established in the fourth-tier having spent the last decade in the division.

The West London side sit sixth in the table after 14 games played – a position they have become accustomed to, having finished the previous two seasons there.

Although Actonians have struggled at home this campaign, with all six of their league victories coming on the road. They’ll face a Luton Town side who have picked up eight of their 13 points on their travels.

Maddix previews Actonians task

Following the conclusion of last Sunday’s 3-3 draw to AFC Sudbury, Myles Maddix gave a few words ahead of his side’s trip to the capital.

The boss said: “Actonians are a team that I’ll never discredit. They’re a team who are going to push on and keep fighting and keep going forward. It’s more of a mentality thing for us to figure out how we can get the result. But, we’ll attack it how we usually do and we’ll have to move past the result against Sudbury.”
