The Town Ladies will look to put right last week’s wrongs when they face QPR at Barton.

After setting an impressive eight-game unbeaten run to begin the year, the Ladies are now without a win in three.

Heading into the final stretch, it is vital the Town begin to pick up points should they want to maintain their midtable position.

The remaining four games begin with what promises to be a tough test at home to fifth-placed QPR Women.

The opposition

The Hoops will look widen the gap between themselves at the Hatters, who with victory would move to within two points of Danny Harrigan’s side.

The West London side will travel outside the capital for the final time this season, having won 5, drawn 1 and lost 4 out of their 10 games on the road during 2025/26.

It was a memorable meeting between the two sides last time out in front of 2,300 fans at Loftus Road. The Town trailed by two goals with 30 minutes remaining, but a long-range strike and a late Taylor O’Leary header levelled the scores and the Ladies took a valuable point back home.

Myles’ pre-QPR thoughts

Ladies’ boss, Myles Maddix, gave his thoughts ahead of Sunday’s encounter at Barton: “We work really hard and play really well at the Clay, so to be back there, back home again, it’ll be another opportunity to show what we can do as a squad. It’ll be an exciting game, obviously last time out we stayed in the game and managed to nick something in the end and the gameplan will be for us to try and get something from it.”

Back the Town

With the Ladies now mathematically safe from the drop, they need your support as they aim to maintain their midtable place, in what has been a memorable return to the fourth-tier.

Tickets will be available at the turnstiles on the day at Barton Rovers’ Sharpenhoe Road ground, priced at £5 adults and just £1 children, cash only.
