Kicking off our Vertu Trophy campaign

Our official match preview for Barnet

Matt Bloomfield fist pumping towards the Luton fans under the Kenilworth Road lights.

Luton Town’s Vertu Trophy campaign kicks off when we host League Two newcomers Barnet at Kenilworth Road (Tuesday, 7.30pm).

Matt Bloomfield’s Hatters will be entering the competition for the first time since the 2018/19 season.

Barnet are in the Vertu Trophy for the first time since 2017/18 after their promotion back to the Football League.

Where to watch/follow

Tickets and hospitality are both still available for this fixture if you want to experience a night under the lights in LU4!

Not with us at Kenilworth Road? If you are located abroad, you can watch the game live on LTFC+ by either purchasing a Global Hatters membership or an individual match pass. Find out more here!

Our UK and Ireland based fans can listen to Simon Pitts’ live commentary by purchasing an LTFC+ audio pass.

Our dedicated match centre will be providing written coverage on Tuesday night, with the match centre starting on our website around two hours before kick-off.

The opposition

Our visitors Barnet had a rocky start to life back in the EFL when they lost their first three games of the season.

Dean Brennan’s Bees bounced back exceptionally, winning away at Swindon and Cheltenham without conceding.

A 90th minute equaliser from Danny Collinge was the least Barnet deserved on Saturday against Colchester, extending their unbeaten run to three games.
