Hatters visit Community Trust summer camps

First team players make youngsters' day at Kellogg's community camps

Sav, Nige Community

Our Community Trust Summer Camps in partnership with Kellogg’s and the EFL Trust have kicked off with huge success this season, bringing smiles, energy, and football fun to hundreds of local children.

So far, over 200 young Hatters have taken part in the camps, enjoying a packed programme of coaching, games, interactive workshops, and new friendships.

A highlight for all so far has been the special visits from six first team players, who have gone above and beyond to inspire our next generation. Players have joined in with drills, posed for photos, signed autographs, and taken time for open Q&A sessions, sharing stories about their journeys, their favourite moments in football, and advice on resilience and teamwork.

Community Trust Football Development Manager Alex Wallace reflected on the success of the camps so far, saying: “It has been positive to see so many young people enjoying our summer camps so far this year. The support from Kellogg’s and the involvement of the first team players has really lifted the experience for everyone involved. The attendance of new signings has added an extra buzz to the camps, with our young people being able to give them that personal welcome to the town.”

With plenty more camps still to run throughout the summer holidays, there’s more to look forward to, including our upcoming Energize Luton camps. We’re proud to be offering high quality, accessible sporting experiences that many will never forget.
