The Hatters are back at Kenilworth Road and my word have we missed it – tonight we face West Ham as top-flight football returns to our Bedfordshire oasis for the first time since 1992.

The old girl has been a hive of activity since we won promotion to the Premier League in order to bring her up to speed and meet top-flight criteria.

It means there will be plenty of changes that supporters must know prior to tonight’s game.

  • Most importantly, the ticket office would like to advise those supporters who are collecting tickets or Season Cards to collect from the Oak Road ticket office before 4pm.
  • After this time, they will be available to pick-up from the new matchday ticket office after 4pm. This is located on the Kenilworth Road forecourt.
  • With a sell-out crowd expected, supporters are advised to arrive early for this fixture.
  • With car parking restricted around the ground, fans can park in the Power Court parking area.

  • The retail department are still working through the pre-orders for shirts and will do so until this is complete
  • Shirts will be available in the club shop for the next Premier League fixture for the visit of Wolves on 23rd September.

Access in and around the ground

  • With the game live on Sky Sports a large outside broadcast compound will be in place in Kenilworth Road – supporters can access the matchday ticket office and club shop
  • Inside the ground, access to your regular seat should not be affected.
  • Beech Path remains open for access pre-match as usual.
  • Fans who have tickets for the Bobbers Stand can only access this area from the turnstiles on Beech Path.
  • Supporters who have tickets for the Bobbers must access the turnstiles from Ivy Road, Beech Road, Ash Road and Kenilworth Road.
  • A new external stairwell outside the Kenilworth Road stand is for media access only and not for supporters’ use.

Food and drink

  • The Kenilworth Road concourse will now house three new concession stands, opening at 6pm.
  • These will be available to supporters pre-match and at half-time (until early in the second half) to those sitting in the main stand and Kenilworth Road end.
  • The new food options are as follows:
    • New partner The Kenny Henny – offering Southern Fried Chicken, loaded chips and vegetarian options with a Hatters-themed menu, which will also be shared with an area selling beer.
    • Norm’s Caribbean shack – Norm's going nowhere! He's now got a new building, which he will share with Leighton Buzzard Brewery and Kelchner, a brewery from Ampthill.
    • An additional unit offering beer, soft drinks and crisps.
  • The Nick Owen bar is no longer available to supporters. However, the kiosk underneath the David Preece Stand has been flipped, with service hatches facing the concourse, serving beers, hot drinks and hot food.
  • All other catering areas will be open as usual.
